Privacy
Which data we process, why, and what rights you have.
This is an English translation for your convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.
1. Controller
Livia Hotels GmbH, Greifswalder Straße 227, 10405 Berlin, Germany, represented by the managing director Svetlana Krapivina. Phone +49 30 443 243 10, email info@adele-berlin.de.
2. Overview
You can use this website without telling us who you are. We use no cookies, no analytics or advertising services and no social media plugins. Fonts and images are served from our own server. We only process personal data where this is needed to run the website, answer your enquiry or handle your booking. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract and pre-contractual steps), (c) (legal obligations) and (f) (legitimate interest in running the website securely).
3. Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by Host Europe GmbH, Hansestraße 111, 51149 Cologne, on servers in Germany. Each time a page is requested, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and operating system. This data is used only to operate and secure the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short time.
4. Contact form and email
If you write to us using the form or by email, we process the details you give us (name, email address, phone number, travel dates, number of guests, message) in order to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The message is sent to the hotel by email; a copy goes to our technical service provider, who maintains the website and acts only for its operation. We do not pass your details on to anyone else. We delete them once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless a booking creates statutory retention obligations under commercial and tax law (usually six to ten years).
5. Online booking
For bookings we send you to our reservation system Beds24 (address bookings.aparts24.de). There you enter the data needed for the booking, such as your name, contact details, travel dates and payment details. We process this data to handle your stay (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Payments are handled by a payment service provider; we do not receive card details in plain text. The booking page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which transfers your IP address to Google. The booking provider’s privacy notice also applies to the booking page.
6. Links to other services
We link to Google Maps and Facebook, among others. Data is only transferred to the provider concerned once you click such a link; their privacy notice then applies.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. Just write to info@adele-berlin.de.
You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.
