Location and directions

By train, bus and tram

The Am Friedrichshain stop is right outside the hotel, served by tram M4 and bus routes 142 and 200. From Berlin Hauptbahnhof (central station), take the S-Bahn to Alexanderplatz, then the M4 four stops heading out of the centre. On foot from Alexanderplatz it takes about 15 minutes.

From BER Airport

By taxi, 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. By train: FEX or S9 to Ostkreuz, then the Ringbahn (circle line) to Landsberger Allee, then tram M4 to Am Friedrichshain. Allow around 50 minutes.

By car

You can drive right up to the hotel. We don’t have our own parking spaces, but there is public parking nearby in a managed parking zone: paid during the day, usually free at night and on Sundays. Please check the signs on the street.

Around the hotel

Volkspark Friedrichshain begins two streets away. You’ll find cafés, restaurants and small shops in the Bötzowviertel and around Kollwitzplatz. Alexanderplatz, with the TV Tower, shops and a major transport hub, is one kilometre away, and Berlin-Mitte and Museum Island are easy to reach by tram or on foot.
